| Angela
is a Vice President for Seabrook Consulting, based in New York City. Angela has extensive
knowledge of group and personal insurance including areas such as worksite marketing for
voluntary products, employer/employee sales and promotional communications,
administration, sales incentive compensation plans, training, and conference planning. Prior to joining Seabrook, Angela was with a major
insurance company for over 30 years where for the last four years she was the officer in
charge of marketing voluntary products at the worksite. Angelas responsibilities
included developing and implementing sales strategies, communications, training,
advertising, competitive information, compliance, compensation, and distribution channel
management. Three major marketing and sales initiatives included:.
Target marketing to small
businesses, associations, franchises, banks, and unions.
Partnering with personal insurance
Sales Managers and Account Representatives to implement customized marketing campaigns to
small businesses, associations, and hotels.
Cross-selling individual products to
group/institutional customers using representatives from the agency force.
Angela has been an officer and is an active
member of the Voluntary Employee Benefit Board (VEBB) and the Mass Marketing Institute
(MI2).
Since joining Seabrook, Angela has helped a
major financial institution develop an alternative distribution channel to sell its
insurance, investment and annuity products directly to consumers. She has also helped a
large insurance carrier document the policies and procedures governing the work performed
by its employees, and she has developed a software training manual and conducted the
training seminars.
Angela holds a BA degree in Liberal Arts
from City College of New York with dual majors in Industrial Psychology and Political
Science.
