New Business Underwriter

Overview:
New Business Middle Market Undewriter in Middletown, CT with national
insurance carrier. Will hold Underwriting Consultant title with opportunity
for advancement to Technical Leader position.

Responsibilities/Requirements:
Candidate must possess 2-3 years middle market (300 -3,000 lives) underwriting
experience with medical, prescription drug, and all funding arrangements experience.
Ability to analyze utilizaton, hospital and clinical reports.
Provide risk evaluation and risk arrangements.
Provide management with insight on health trends and costs.
Ability to develop financial models for planning purposes.


Salary/Benefits:
Underwriting Consultant salary parameters $40K - $70K dependent upon relevant experience.
Plus annual bonus Competitive benefits.
