District Sales Manager (Insurance)
Job Summary:
Responsible for all field sales activities; for the maintenance of an adequate field sales team, for obtaining maximum sales volume; for coaching and retraining of sales staff and sales planning.
JOB DESCRIPTION: To build, maintain and direct an efficient, well-trained and effective field sales organization. To establish and execute sales programs in accordance with approved policies. To assign sales objectives to sales territories, accounts and evaluate performance. To plan and conduct periodic sales meetings for the purpose of educating, training and motivating the sales team. To approve travel and selling expenses. To operate the team at a profit and to allocate time for self-development. To handle all sales staff problems as assigned by the VP of Sales/Director and to be an assistant / advisor.

* Ability to hold staff accountable
* Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

REQUIREMENTS: 3-5+ Years related experience and college degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Public Health, or related fields required.
SALARY/BONUS: $55K plus bonus commensurate with experience. Attractive benefits.
