Senior Consultant - Employee Benefits

Overview:
Major consulting firm seeks a Senior Consultant - Employee Benefits for a Health and Welfare position in the Boston area. As a key member of the firm's Health and Welfare practice, you will play a critical role in providing health and welfare expertise to the firm's Health and Welfare consulting team responsible for providing consulting services to middle market employer groups. This encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including project management, analysis of traditional medical plan designs and funding arrangements, and administrative activities related to providers, pricing, and funding.

Responsibilities:
Work with Directors in the Health and Welfare practice in the design, marketing, pricing, and administration of health care plans (HMO,PPO, and EPO) disability, dental, Workers' Compensation, and long term care.

Scope out and manage major projects with respect to employee benefits for the middle market employer groups.

Partner with Directors in the Health and Welfare practice for new business development and generating new business.

Support the Directors in all initiatives and projects.

Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in the health care and insurance industries required. Knowledge and exposure to New England and Northeast markets preferred. BA or BS degree required.

Salary/Benefits:
$80,000 - $120,000 salary plus bonus and benefits.
